Story time
Storytelling is part of my culture, my history, my past. I grew up and learnt my lessons by hearing stories and tales. Although mine isn’t worthy of any grand prize, they do convey a little of how I see life and its simple everyday experiences. Told with some colourful splashing, much like I would paint on a canvas, an experience unfolds into a memory, a story if you like. Around storytime, we all have a canvas to paint! Our joys become dramas. Our hardships become lessons. Our embarressments become comedies and our lives become books.
